What separates the great, classic movies of lasting value of importance from all the rest?
The seventh class in this series, a 6-hour+ class, taught by Tony Savant, will deconstruct and analyze the film, THE GETAWAY, starring Steve McQueen, Ali MacGraw, Al Lettieri, Ben Johnson and Sally Struthers. We will use this film to explore the writing, directing, acting and cinematic contributions the actors and film artists made in telling this story. But there will be a heavy emphasis in this class on McQueen's acting and his contributions to the script and story telling through behavior.
